Activities Committee
Purpose
A. The BCAAC shall fulfill the primary purpose of planning, coordinating and administering Bay Cities Area Events and fund-raisers. The BCAAC shall contribute to the growth and unity of the Bay Cities Area of Narcotics Anonymous.
B. To provide donations over and above the BCAAC prudent reserve to the BCASC in order for it to continue to carry out the functions described in BCASC Guidelines.

Convention Committee
Purpose
To coordinate and conduct a bi-annual Bay Cities Convention by members of Narcotics Anonymous to bring our memberships together in the celebration of recovery. Meetings, workshops, and other activities are scheduled to encourage unity and fellowship among our members.
Because conventions are sponsored by service committees of Narcotics Anonymous, they shall always conform to the N.A. principles and reflect our primary purpose to carry the message to the newcomer.

Hospitals & Institutions Committee (or H&I)
Definition and PurposeThe H&I sub-committee of BCASC is a group of men and women from the fellowship of Narcotics Anonymous who believe in the concept "To assure that no addict seeking recovery need never die without having had the chance to find a better way of life. From this day forward may we better provide the necessary services."
This concept is our primary purpose. This sub-committee is responsible to the BCASC and shall maintain an active relationship in the spirit of unity. This sub-committee shall service all approved panels within the Bay Cities Area and Narcotics Anonymous as a whole.

Literature Distribution Committee
PurposeTo distribute N.A. approved materials in the N.A. fellowship within the Bay Cities Area. Our aim is to carry this out in a manner consistent with the Twelve Traditions of N.A. and the Working Guide to Our Service Structure in N.A., so that no addict seeking recovery need ever die.

Newsletter Committee
Purpose
- To collect articles sent in by members of N.A., print and distribute in the newsletter at the BCASC business meeting.
- We distribute the newsletter to the Bay Cities Area every month as a service to its members and a way to generate unity within the area.
- To provide the message of recovery to those members incarcerated in jails and institutions.

Phonelines Committee
PurposeTo provide a link between the general public and the Narcotics Anonymous fellowship through a twenty-four hour helpline, primary providing meeting information. Our aim is to carry this out in a manner consistent with the twelve traditions and twelve concepts of N.A.

Public Information Committee (or P.I.)
PurposeThe purpose of Public Information is to inform the public that N.A. exists as a resource in their community. To this end, the clarity and quality of our public image and presentation have a direct bearing on whether or not addicts who need us will be able to find us.

Sponsorship Behind the Walls
PurposeOur primary purpose is to provide through the mail a sponsor to work the Twelve Steps of Narcotics Anonymous to those people who are incarcerated in the Terminal Island Federal Correctional Institution and are not able to meet potential sponsors at their local NA meetings. Sponsorship is provided until release. Our interactions will only be via US mail. Our mission is to ensure that any addict seeking recovery through a working knowledge of the Twelve Steps of Narcotics Anonymous has the opportunity to do so despite incarceration.

Website Committee
The purpose of the Bay Cities Area Website is:
- To provide information about N.A. to addicts who still suffer.
- To provide information about meetings and activities
- To provide services to the BCA (or Bay Cities Area) in order to foster and maintain a greater sense of community for this area. These services to be determined by the BCAWC (Bay Cities Area Website Committee) providing it is within the spirit and principles of the website guidelines.
